Will I have teeth the same day as surgery?+

Yes — in the vast majority of cases. After Dr. Advani places your four implants, a provisional (temporary) set of fixed teeth is attached the same afternoon. These look and function like natural teeth while your jaw heals. Your permanent prosthesis is crafted over the following 3-6 months once osseointegration is complete.
How painful is the procedure?+

With IV sedation, patients sleep through the procedure itself and typically have no memory of it. Post-operative discomfort is generally mild to moderate — most patients compare it to a tooth extraction and manage well with prescription pain relief for 2-3 days. By the end of the first week, most patients are back to normal activities and off prescription medications.
I've been told I don't have enough bone for implants. Can I still have All-on-4?+

Often, yes. All-on-4 is specifically designed to work with less bone than traditional implant approaches by angling the posterior implants. For more severe bone loss, Dr. Advani offers advanced techniques including pterygoid implants, trans-sinus placement, palatal approach, and nasopalatine canal anchorage. How long does All-on-4 last?+

The implants themselves are designed to last a lifetime with proper care, and most patients will never need them replaced. The prosthesis (the visible teeth attached to the implants) typically lasts 10-20 years depending on material and daily wear. Routine professional cleanings every 6 months are essential, just as with natural teeth.
Does insurance cover All-on-4?+

Most dental insurance plans do not cover full-arch implant procedures as a single comprehensive service, though they often contribute toward components like extractions. Medical insurance may cover IV sedation in certain circumstances. HSA and FSA funds can be applied.
